Fiesta Flowers have Arrived!!

This last week in The Yarn Shoppe has been quite hectic; a busy week was had by all! With classes, knitting emergencies (our "yarn triage" center is avaiable during business hours), and new deliveries pouring through the door, spring is off to a good start.

This week's newest arrivals came to us from Misti Alpaca, Southwest Trading Company, and Fiesta. The Fiesta Flowers colorways are exclusive to only 50 yarn shops within the U.S. We are the shop for Idaho, and we are pleased to announce that the color for April arrived on Monday; Gerber Daisies. This colorway is a vibrant mix of sunrise shades; orange, yellow, pink and red all intermingled beautifully. From Pagewood we have received new colorways of their sock yarns; Yukon and Denali. From Southwest Trading Company, we have more colors of Therapi, a wonderfully soft yarn containing fine wool, silk, and Bowlder (Jade fiber). Come in and see these lovely and exclusive yarns.

Community Corner Update

On Thursday our plush animal collection was distributed to Ada County Sheriff's Dept, Meridian Police, and Boise Police. These soft toys will be given to childern that have been involved in or witnessed traumatic events that the police often respond to. Thanks for all of the support in this collection, and don't forget to donate food, towels, blankets and toys to our local animal shelters! We have a collection box here in the shoppe.

Spring!

Now that the dark days of winter are waning, our focus is shifting to new life, new shoots, new yarn! What better way to celebrate than with a bright, new skein of Fiesta yarn. Yesterday we received a shipment of new colorways of Baby Boom, Boomerang and La Boheme. Come see what all of the fuss is about!
